About the Speaker :
Dr. Jess CHAN was a distinguished Speech Therapist with over two decades of experience across healthcare and educational settings in Hong Kong.
As Service Head of Child Rehabilitation Service at Hong Kong Christian Service now, she is managing 20 service units across 16 districts of Hong Kong of more than 350 professional staff. Each year, her service served more than 4000 SEN families. She pioneers innovative approaches in rehabilitation, including VR-based training and AI-integrated systems.
As a 2024 recipient of the Jockey Club Innovation in Social Service Leadership Program, Jess studied at both Tsinghua University and Harvard University.
Her expertise spans SEN, early language acquisition, and children's socio-emotional development, serving as an advisor across six universities. With 17 awards in social welfare, IT, and pediatric sectors, Jess is recognized for transforming rehabilitation services through technology integration and inclusive education in preschool rehabilitation sector.
