Speaker: Ms. Freddie DEEGAN

Speech Title: Let's Talk about Loss

Lunch Fee: HKD300

About the Speaker :

At a late stage in life, and while leading a high-profile corporate career in the Southern African tourism industry, Freddie made a significant change in her life and relocated to the United States. In America, although still in the corporate world, Freddie entered a completely different field of business, with no history, connections or safety-net. Having previously been seen as a career woman, mother, sister and friend, she found that she had to redefine who she was. Five years later, it all changed again, when she relocated to Hong Kong.

It was then that Freddie chose to refocus her energies and immerse herself full-time in a field which had, over the years, had a particular impact and great significance in her life. She began counselling 10 years ago, after enduring traumatic losses in her own life.   Freddie is a Certified Loss and Grief Counsellor, working out of two practices in Hong Kong.
