About the Speaker :
Dr Carrison TONG finished his PhD in Medical Imaging at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Imperial College, UK. Dr. Tong is a professional member of Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Chartered Engineer. He was been working as a Medical Physicist for Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital (PYNEH) since 1996. He also has published more than forty papers in the area of medical imaging and modelling.
From 2006 to 2024, Dr Tong has been awarded 9 Hong Kong Information & Communication Technology (HKICT) Awards including grand, gold, silver, and bronze awards, 3 Asia Pacific Information & Communication Technology (APICTA) Awards, 2 HKIE Grand Awards. In 2024, Dr Tong has won The WITSA Global Innovation and Tech Excellence Award.
