Weekly Meeting
Place: Hotel Panorama
Speaker: Miss Jennifer NGAN
Topic: My Rotaract Experience
About the Speaker: Rotaract Club of HKIEd Students' Union
About the Speaker
Miss Jennifer NGAN is a year two university student studying at the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Her programme is Language Studies major in English. She chose this programme because of her interests in analyzing languages especially English. She has a deep interest in Japanese too and she started to learn it when she was studying Form Two.
Jennifer has an optimistic, outgoing personality and she loves helping others and socializing. On the other hand, she thinks that her weakness is not thinking in details and making decision without thorough consideration. It hindered her from doing a lot of things in daily life and even created conflicts with friends and family.
After joining the Rotaract club, she learnt to accept others opinion and to improve herself from correcting her mistakes. Being a Charter President is never easy and has to face many challenges everyday. She would like to continue to learn to be a capable and responsible leader and lead her club to soaring to new heights.
