Erika M. Barban was born and raised in Vicenza, Italy - the gold city. With a degree in business administration and a talent for languages, Erika has spent 15 years within the jewelry business, covering customer services, marketing and sales across the globe.
In 2007 she moved from Italy to China where she lived and worked for 7 years in Shanghai getting accustomed to Chinese culture and language. Also in these years she started to work as single-entrepreneur and develop managing skills. And appointed by different Italian jewelry producers, she acted as an exclusive agent and promoter across the Asian markets, working in brand promotion, market-entry and market-analysis in Mainland China and East Asia.
Her passion for fine jewels and precious elements brought her to learn more about production, materials and design developing which allow the follow up of spot co-operation in out-sourcing and quality control.
In 2013, together with her partner and husband, she moved from Shanghai to Hong Kong with aim to be more closer to the jewellery customers and suppliers, to start their own company, Lorax Studio Limited and to be able to develop their aims and projects.
