About the Speaker :
Dr. Cynthia LAI is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Before she joined the University as a Faculty Member, Cynthia worked in Hospital Authority and other Non-Government Organizations as an Occupational Therapist. Cynthia has been serving as an Honorary Consultant of kingdergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in Hong Kong.
Cynthia engages in community-based participatory research and enjoys developing assessment and training tool for people with developmental disabilities.
Cynthia joined Rotary Club of Tsim Sha Tsui in September 2017 and became the Deputy Chair, Service Projects Committee in 2018-19.
