About the Speaker :
Mitzi LEUNG BSocSc(Hons) (HKU), MEc(MacquarieU), DipEd(CUHK) FCIS, FTIHK
PP Mitzi LEUNG is an experienced professional educator contributed to the development of vocational and professional education and training (VPET) in Hong Kong. She served on a number of professional bodies including the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and the HK Taxation Institute contributed to their development in Hong Kong.
She was much involved in the planning Team of the Vocational Training Council Hong Kong Technical College which later became the Institute of Vocational Education (IVE). She was the Principal of the Hong Kong IVE at the Morrison Hill and Tuen Mun campuses.
Mitzi is the Vice President of the UNESCO Hong Kong Association. As Co-Chairman of the UNESCO HK Peace Project Committee, the Glocal Peace Centre was founded. Promoting a culture of peace through intercultural dialogue, global citizenship education and SDGs are her interest. She was recognised and awarded the China ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) Project “Pioneer Award" by the UNESCO China National Commission.
PP Mitzi LEUNG is RAGFP (Rotary Action Group for Peace) Director (Asia, Australia, Oceania), the Founding Chair of the RAGFP Hong Kong & Macao Chapter. She is the Past President of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong and Past Assistant Governor of Rotary District 3450.
