2025-04-14 Gautam BARDOLOI - Lessons Learnt from Cooking to the World of Business

Mr. Gautam BARDOLOI is the Honorary President of the Forum of Indian Professionals Hong Kong (www.FIPHK.com) & also one of its founding members.

Gautam began his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and transitioned to Hong Kong and joined PwC Consulting and, on its acquisition by IBM, he continued with the firm and was a Partner at IBM Business Consulting Services since 2003. He assumed global leadership of IBM’s Asset Management consulting services between 2006-2010. In 2011, he was hired by the Hong Kong Jockey Club [HKJC] (www.HKJC.com) as Head of IT Strategy & Governance overseeing their multi-billion-dollar transformation program.

Gautam was a member of the Advisory Board at the Asian Institute of Supply Chain in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (www.CUHK.com) from 2006 to 2019. He also represented the Trade Development Council (TDC) of Hong Kong, in promoting Hong Kong as a supply chain hub in Asia to various trade development councils across Europe & Asia between 2004-2006. Gautam has worked in over 20 countries across Asia, LATAM and Europe.

Gautam is a passionate cook and took a 2-year sabbatical from work to explore and understand food across the world. He set up his own YouTube Channel [Bordo’s Kitchen], all proceeds from which going to Charity.

He is a Mechanical Engineer, with an MBA and an EDP from Harvard Business School.
