About the Speaker:
Mr. Tai joined the Firm in 1988 and became a partner in 1989. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 1986. Mr. Tai mainly practises in the field of civil litigation including banking litigation, commercial litigation, property disputes and matrimonial matters. He speaks fluent Cantonese, Putonghua and English.
Mr. Tai actively participates in community and public services. He was the President of the Rotary Club of Kowloon West for the year 1995-1996 and has served in various positions with several community and public service bodies. Mr. Tai is particularly interested in tennis and was the Chairman of Challenge Resources International Limited for many years, which organized tennis events and friendship competitions between interested participants from Hong Kong and Chinese officials.
Mr. Tai has also been appointed as a civil celebrant of marriages.
